Here's the homework I want you to focus on for next class (Saturday the 16th):

• Workbook pages 40, 45 and 46 all exercises
• Study for the 2nd Written Assignment

A recommendation for the Written Assignment is to know how and when to use all grammar tenses (Present Simple and Present Progressive, Past Simple and Past Progressive, Present Perfect Simple and Present Perfect Progressive, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Progressive, and Future Will, Future Going to and Future Perfect Simple).

PLEASE!! Focus on the last 5 tenses listed before. Also study hard linking words, you may be given extra points if you use correctly a considerable variety of linking words.

First I'd like to wish you an excellent week start. Also I want to give 2 announcements:

• Next Saturday (February 27th) we WILL HAVE CLASS!, remember it is going to be our First Oral Exam. Our Day Off will be on March 5th.
• Next Saturday we'll carry out the Newspaper Recycling Campaign. The campaign consists to promote the value of recycling by bringing newspaper tied up by bags or ropes. I invite you greatly to participate in this campaign.

The students that bring newspaper will obtain EXTRA PARTICIPATION POINTS. In order to give you these points, it's necessary that you attach a piece of paper with Your Name, Your Teacher's Name (Agustín Rodríguez) and Your Group: 08.

I also attach a video recorded by the coordinator Denise Molina with a message about this project.

• Write an informal letter o an email (your choice) accepting or rejecting an invitation. You MUST use the vocabulary seen at the end of the class, try also to use linking words (and, or, but, so, because, however, though, likewise, due to, etc.) At least write 150 words. 

This MUST BE sent to my e-mail (agustinmrt@hotmail.com) by Tuesday's night. (If you send it later, it is going to be graded as a "0")

• Read Chapter 2 from our book "Cirque Du Freak: A Living Nightmare". We will discuss a little bit of it next Saturday's morning.
• Keep completing your own word dictionary.
• Start creating your first 5 flashcards with the verbs in past simple and past participle.
